Completely rebuilt and refinished in satin ebony.
$24,000 including tax and a one year full warranty with free delivery and
tuning anywhere in Michigan. Out-of-state delivery is quoted upon request.
The price is firm. Please do not ask to negotiate, as we cannot go any lower.

Rebuilding details:
new solid spruce soundboard; new multi-laminate maple pin plank; new tuning pins;
new treble and bass strings; new hammers and damper felts; new keys and key bushings;
complete hammer voicing; complete damper and pedal regulation; complete key leveling
and action regulation; five tunings to tension the new strings and raise to perfect pitch.

Refinishing details:
entire old finish completely removed; all surfaces then sanded smooth
and level through 220 grit; two lacquer base coats then applied to fill all
wood pores; base coat then sanded through 400 grit to smooth and level;
two top coats of the finest traditional satin ebony lacquer then applied.

Other details:
Steinway's duplicate of their original decal on soundboard and fall board;
all polished chrome Steinway hardware and casters per original; metal plate
that holds the strings, rebronzed per original; new solid hardwood, duet sized bench,
finished in matching satin ebony; new detachable, cushioned bench pad in ebony fabric.
