- PIANO APPRAISALS -

We will inspect your piano and provide a written appraisal of its current market value.
We do not however, provide appraisals without an inspection, as they are
often disputed when filing replacement value claims for insurance on theft,
fire damage, natural disasters, tax deductions on non-profit donations, and
other requirements for accurate appraisal of the piano's present market value.

Note:
If you just want information about your piano's age and history, rather than
an appraisal, we can provide that without the necessity of an inspection:

Our piano appraisals are $50 plus the cost of inspection:
We can inspect your piano when we tune it ($100)
or otherwise, our inspection fee is applied ($70).

Those prices apply to the following counties:
Genesee County, Ingham County, Jackson County, Livingston County, Macomb
County, Oakland County, Shiawassee County, Washtenaw County, Wayne County.

For other statewide counties, a one-way, $0.50 per mile, travel surcharge is added.

After our inspection:
A written copy of your piano appraisal will be provided on our business
letterhead and sent first class mail within five days of our inspection,
or if prefered, we will email it as a pdf file which you can then print.

Each appraisal includes the name of the piano manufacturer, its location and
history, the piano model, size, finish type, serial number, and age of the piano,
its cost new or a comparable new model, and the current market value, based on its
inherent acoustical quality and value depreciation for the cost of technical service
that would be required to play correctly, and refinishing service if also required.
